This project aims to help individuals in the Delta live a healthier lifestyle by learning more about healthy places to eat and places to engage in physical activity within their community. This project began with a wellness guide to Coahoma County called "Stay Healthy, Coahoma County!" This guide is a template to create similar wellness guides for every county in the Delta.

We plan to create a comprehensive resource about places to eat healthy, purchase local foods, or engage in physical activity throughout the Delta. At the end of this project we hope to have two things: (1) an online interactive map showing the entire Delta with markers in each county to show all the places to eat healthy or get physical activity and (2) a printable guide to each county that lists information on these wellness resources in that county.
